The foreign company is searching for an English Speaking Legal Counsel.
Responsibilities:
- Legal Counsel will report directly to Senior Company's Legal (Projects) and will take a support role for the legal aspects of the organization's project transactions and new business ventures.
- Support and assist the legal function of the organization's project transactions.
- Collaborate with Legal Directors to ensure the provision of cost-efficient and
- Effective legal support and advice to project transaction teams.
- Ensure the effective implementation of legal philosophy through the support of the legal affairs and regulatory governance & compliance issues relating to business area by setting appropriate individual objectives to ensure that the highest level of performance is achieved.
- Provide professional advice and support to all levels of the business on the full range of legal issues to ensure that managers/ stakeholders are aware of the legal implications of their decisions.
- Manage the delivery of legal services to be delivered to the members of the New Business Development Department.
- Ensure the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of the delivery of his/her legal workstream with respect to project transactions.

Master's Degree in Business Law.
Internationally recognized (Western) Legal qualifications such as Postgraduate qualification (Masters, MBA, or PhD) preferred.
Fully qualified, professional lawyer.
- Minimum 3-5 years of legal advisory at an international or regional law firm and/or large in-house environment involving companies with extensive infrastructure focus.
- Substantive experience on commercial law matters such as corporate documentation, real estate matters, company formation, tax matters, etc.
- Transactional PPP/concession experience is strongly preferred, with exposure to non-recourse project finance transactions, concession documentation, EPC and O&M contracts, formation of international JVs and SPVs, financing documentation, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple business pressures and operate effectively under stress.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage personnel in a high-pressure environment.
