We are searching for an English Speaking Civil Engineer (in Renewable Energy and Substation experience)!
Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Create comprehensive cost estimates for a range of project activities, including the installation of solar trackers, land grading, foundation construction, mounting structure installation for solar panels, as well as substation foundations, control buildings, and the installation of transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and other substation equipment. Ensure all estimates cover materials, labor, and equipment, and maintain high accuracy and completeness.
- Vendor Consultation: Engage with local vendors to gather quotations and cost data, ensuring alignment with project requirements and local market conditions.
- Project Bidding: Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, incorporating cost estimates, vendor quotes, and technical specifications to support project acquisition.
- Local Regulations: Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and standards in Azerbaijan.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and detailed reports on project costs, vendor interactions, and bidding processes to senior management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive project execution and successful outcomes.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on renewable energy and substation projects.
- Costing Expertise: Proven experience in project costing, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Vendor Relations: Demonstrated ability to consult with and manage relationships with local vendors.
- Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of local regulations, market conditions, and construction practices in Azerbaijan.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to project costing and management.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Russian and Azerbaijani.
Work terms:
Work place - Samarkand construction sites.
Employment term - 1 year (with option to extend)
